Is your liquor-licensed establishment RAMP certified?
The Pennsylvania Tavern Associations TAPS trainers are now teaching a curriculum designed by the PLCB Alcohol Education Department. This class has been designed to educate Pennsylvania licensees and their employees on the policies and regulations of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. This class is specifically on the laws that you must follow in Pennsylvania.
Our trainers are successful in training your servers to be responsible even when your clientele is not. Our trainers all have extensive experience in the industry ranging from long-time Commonwealth licensees, 20 years as a server in Pennsylvania, and retired Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement Supervisors. They are able to answer questions accurately and are also given up-to-date information that they are able to share with you regarding new legislation and laws affecting your business because of their affiliation with the Pennsylvania Tavern Association.
This server/seller class is one of the 5 components you must complete in order for your establishment to become RAMP certified by the PLCB.
The steps to becoming RAMP certified include the following:
- Owner/Manager Training (only provided by the PLCB)
- Server/Seller Training (provided by the PA Tavern Association)
- New Employee Orientation
- Signage (provided by the PLCB upon request)
- Certification and Compliance Appointment and Visit
We have great rates and our trainers travel to your establishment according to your schedules! You pick the date and time and leave everything else up to us!
We will be updated every 3 days to post new classes as we schedule classes daily. To register and reserve your spot for any of these classes, please call the PA Tavern Association at 1-800-543-7683. Class space is limited to 40 students per class so don't delay!
If you do not see a class near you, please call our office and we will be more than happy to schedule a class at your establishment at your convenience to help you complete your responsible goals of RAMP certification!
